To Lose A Dream ~ Because of Tradition?

Sadness In Flowers | Love In Words

When a girl has a dream, why do you think it is never realized? Particularly if this girl has long-lived in a closed society, of a third world? In a country such as Indonesia, Iran, and Afghanistan or any other country that limits a person’s choices. Any number of place, can fit that bill, in this world today. Where girls do not have a choice, instead her future decided for her whether it be society or her family making all the decisions from how she will dress, to whom she will be able to marry and everything in between. Who moves only when her strings are pulled one way or the other.

What kind of life is this, where she cannot make her own choices even if she attends a University where at least by the American Standard Definition, coincides with an educational institution that sole purpose, at least you would hope, is to open her mind, to teach about a world outside of her prison, away from environmental influence and pressure to stay pliable and formed to whatever the leader of the household wants her to become. Whether it be the perfect wife, whose only goal is to follow a new leader, her husband even if not by choice, no matter how he may treat her. To continue the same pointless cycle from her kids as well as their children who are yet born.

Perhaps the point is that in raising the children the way they always have, the result will always be the same, however devious, yet so factual don’t you agree? As a way to continually keep the daughters as raised, perfect wives enclosed in their own box only knowing what that society wants them to know through breeding ignorance insuring, however flawed the system, that the powers that be will keep receiving money, tithes and the like, of an ignorant and faithful following of people who do not know any better. If only they would step away, to realize that it is not how it must be and understanding this Universal Truth, to start thinking for themselves thereby removing the blinders that have been constantly replaced and solidified by to many years of keeping them on. The blinders of selective ignorance, given to the first generations as they went about removing the idea of thinking for themselves and instead having them agree that they should have someone else think for them because it was easier. Thereby missing the entire color spectrum, by instead choosing to live in a Mono Chromatic world where everything is black and white, good or bad. A place where if they take the time to move away from it that initially may be blinded by the entire color spectrum, but then realize that this is how it should be for the future generations, a change that is so necessary to Focus Forward and to live a full life where education of diverse subjects is important, where Critical Thinking is a constant.

That is a society that should be the constant, the idea that is taught in the schools and the understanding that it is better to think for yourself then to let others think for you. That life is for living not just existing and that everyday should be your best day because everyday is a present.
